Is Lincolnshire Links open yet?

Yes. Connect to lincolnshire.depart.cloud:57015 using the openOMSI client. Install Lincolnshire V5 and its required downloads first, and check the status page for current availability.

Do I need a copy of OMSI 2?

Yes, along with Lincolnshire V5 and its required downloads. openOMSI loads your existing OMSI 2 installation and includes no game content of its own.

Does multiplayer work on vanilla OMSI 2?

No. OMSI 2 shipped without multiplayer, so this server runs on the openOMSI client. Download the latest release, point it at your OMSI 2 folder, and you're on the same roads, 64-bit and faster than you're used to.

I've never used openOMSI. Is that a problem?

Install the client, point it at your OMSI 2 folder and install the map and its required downloads. Follow the joining guide to connect. The driving itself is unchanged.

I'm not in the UK. Can I still play?

You can join from wherever you are. The server is hosted in the EU. Just keep driving on the left.

Is the server free?

Server access is free. You’ll need OMSI 2, Lincolnshire V5 and its required downloads. A depart.cloud account is optional for driving, but you’ll need one to record your hours and tours.

What equipment do I need?

Whatever you usually drive with: keyboard, gamepad, or wheel and pedals. The openOMSI client runs on Windows, macOS and Linux.

How do my driving statistics follow me?

Sign in with Discord on depart.cloud, then open your profile. Use the crew ID shown there as your profile name in the openOMSI client. The same ID records your driving here, with a separate map leaderboard and combined profile totals.
