Hohenkirchen - Herrenhof
A fictional corner of southern Thuringia, from Hohenkirchen’s town streets to Herrenhof and the villages beyond. Our server uses version 2, with eight routes and a timetable built around connections.
Route board
The X49 and 849 form the main connection between Hohenkirchen and Herrenhof, together providing a 15-minute service. Routes 1 and 2 cover Hohenkirchen itself, while the 852 and 853 reach the surrounding villages. The 854 climbs to Oberhof, where the 855 continues towards local attractions. Bf. means railway station; Sbf. means southern railway station. Some journeys run only part of a route or extend beyond its usual endpoints, so check your tour before setting off.

Driving around Hohenkirchen
- Keep to the right. Take extra care at junctions while you get used to a different side of the road.
- Check the whole tour before leaving. Some duties change lines or run a shorter journey, and connections matter here.
- Wait until departure time at stops. Hohenkirchen station is a timed interchange, so give connecting services a chance to arrive.
- Take the climb to Oberhof steadily. The 854 gains around 220 metres, and the downhill journey needs just as much care.
- The town routes are a useful place to get your bearings before heading out into the villages.
